How long does a new website take?

A one-pager is usually ready in 1 to 2 weeks, a business website in 2 to 3 weeks. The sooner your texts, images and other content are ready, the faster I can build.

What technology do you build with?

Whatever suits your project. A lean HTML site is especially fast, secure and cheap to run. If you want to edit content yourself, I build with a content management system such as WordPress.

Can I edit my website myself later?

Yes, if you want to. Your site then gets a content management system and you get a walkthrough. For an HTML site, I make changes for you, for example as part of a maintenance plan.

Will this improve my Google ranking?

Nobody can promise rankings. But clean structure, described images and fast code are exactly what search engines read well.

Why not an overlay plugin for accessibility?

Widgets that claim to remove barriers automatically don’t fix missing labels or a checkout that can’t be used with a keyboard. That only works in the code and the content.

Do I need to rebuild my site?

Almost never. Most issues can be fixed in the existing theme and content. If the site is very old, a new website can be cheaper. I’ll tell you honestly.

Do I need a maintenance plan?

It isn’t mandatory. But without updates, a website with a content management system like WordPress becomes vulnerable over time. If you run a shop or online booking, it also has to stay accessible.

I’ve received a legal warning (Abmahnung). What now?

Have a lawyer review the warning first. In parallel, I can fix the technical issues quickly.
